Prices are guide prices only. Final quote depends on damage size, location, paint type, colour, access, weather, and whether the repair is mobile-suitable or workshop-suitable. Send photos for an accurate ballpark.

Behind the numbers

What actually affects your price

Understanding these five factors explains almost every quote we give.

1. Size & depth

A 5cm lacquer scuff and a 30cm gouge to plastic are different jobs. Depth matters more than length — it decides whether polish, paint or a bodyshop is the answer.

2. Paint type

Solid colours blend fastest. Metallics need careful technique. Pearls and tri-coats can need extra blending stages — sometimes the workshop.

3. Position

Flat panel centres are simplest. Edges, curves, swage lines and areas around sensors, cameras or trims take longer to do properly.

4. Access & weather

Mobile repairs need space to work and reasonable conditions. If the forecast turns, we'll rebook or move the job to the workshop rather than rush it.

5. Mobile or workshop

Some jobs simply finish better under workshop lighting and controlled conditions. We'll always tell you which route we'd choose and why.

The free bit

Photo quotes and lease/PCP return photo checks cost nothing and carry no obligation. Worst case, you get an honest professional opinion for free.

Photo guide

How to send photos for the fastest quote

  • One close-up of the damage, about 30–50cm away
  • One wider shot showing the whole panel or wheel
  • Vehicle make, model and colour (a photo of the whole car helps)
  • Your postcode so we can confirm coverage
  • Whether you’d prefer mobile or workshop

Daylight photos work best. Don’t worry about making it look good — we’re used to reading real-world photos.

Why photos first?

Photos let us quote quickly and honestly. We can usually tell straight away whether a mark will respond to SMART repair, whether it needs the workshop, or whether a bodyshop is the better route. That saves you time — and means the price we give you is one we can stand behind at inspection.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Why 'from' prices and not fixed prices?

Because two scuffs that look similar in photos can be very different jobs — depth, paint type and position all matter. Guide prices give you an honest starting point; your photo quote narrows it to a ballpark; inspection confirms the final figure before any work starts.

How much does bumper scuff repair cost?

Typical corner scuffs start from £120. Larger scrapes run from £160–£280 depending on size, depth and colour. Send photos for your actual ballpark.

How much does alloy wheel repair cost?

Painted alloy face repairs start from £75 per wheel, with discounts for multiple wheels in one visit. Diamond-cut and specialist finishes are quoted after photos.

Are there any call-out or quote fees?

No. WhatsApp photo quotes are free, and there's no obligation. Travel is included for our core coverage area; for outer-area jobs we'll confirm any travel element in the quote.

What makes a repair cost more?

Size and depth of damage, paint type (pearls and tri-coats need extra blending), position (edges and curves take longer), sensors or trims near the damage, and whether the job needs the workshop.

Do you price match?

We price for doing the job properly once. If you get a much cheaper quote, ask exactly what's included — masking, blending, lacquer quality and finishing vary a lot between providers.
