Before
AfterThat door ding catches your eye every single time
Supermarket car parks have a lot to answer for. The good news: many small dents can be repaired far more simply than people expect. If the paint is unbroken, paintless dent removal (PDR) can massage the metal back without any refinishing. If the paint is damaged, a SMART repair deals with both.
Dents are the one repair we most want photos of before quoting — depth, position and crease-lines make a big difference. Send a couple of angles and we’ll give you a realistic assessment.

What we repair
- Parking dings and trolley dents
- Soft, shallow dents on doors, wings and quarter panels
- Dents with unbroken paint (PDR candidates)
- Small dents with paint damage (dent + localised paint repair)
When SMART repair may not be the right route
- Sharp creases and stretched metal — often need bodyshop repair
- Dents on panel edges, swage lines or double-skinned areas
- Cracked paint over a large dent
- Areas we can't access behind the panel — assessed from photos
Send photos first — if it needs a different repair route, we’ll say so.

Prices are guide prices only. Final quote depends on damage size, location, paint type, colour, access, weather, and whether the repair is mobile-suitable or workshop-suitable. Send photos for an accurate ballpark.
What affects the price
- Dent size, depth and whether there's a crease
- Panel and position — edges and lines are harder
- Paint condition — intact paint keeps costs down
- Access behind the panel
- Aluminium panels behave differently to steel
Mobile or workshop?
Straightforward PDR jobs are often fine mobile in good light. Dents needing paint, and anything borderline, is usually better in the workshop. Photograph the dent from a low angle in daylight — the reflection tells us most of what we need.
How to send photos for the fastest quote
- One close-up of the damage, about 30–50cm away
- One wider shot showing the whole panel or wheel
- Vehicle make, model and colour (a photo of the whole car helps)
- Your postcode so we can confirm coverage
- Whether you’d prefer mobile or workshop
Daylight photos work best. Don’t worry about making it look good — we’re used to reading real-world photos.

Why photos first?
Photos let us quote quickly and honestly. We can usually tell straight away whether a mark will respond to SMART repair, whether it needs the workshop, or whether a bodyshop is the better route. That saves you time — and means the price we give you is one we can stand behind at inspection.
Common questions
What's the difference between PDR and SMART repair?
PDR reshapes the metal from behind without painting — ideal when paint is unbroken. SMART repair refinishes the damaged area with paint. Some dents need both.
Can every dent be fixed without paint?
No. Sharp creases, stretched metal and cracked paint limit PDR. We'll tell you from photos whether yours is a good candidate.
How long does dent repair take?
PDR jobs are often under two hours. Dent-plus-paint repairs typically take half a day.
Will there be any trace of the dent?
Good PDR candidates usually finish with no visible trace. Harder dents may finish 90–95% improved — if that's the realistic outcome, we'll say so before you book.
What photos help most?
Two angles in daylight, including one from a shallow angle showing the reflection across the dent, plus a wider shot of the panel.
